CADEX is returning to its normal place on the calendar for 2023, and will be held on Wednesday April 5 at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel. The day begins at 10:30 a.m. and the conference sessions start at noon. The event will also be followed by the popular annual President’s Dinner.
“I don’t think we’ve seen a time when we’ve seen so many elements of change facing the business,” said John Sutherland, Executive Vice-President of the Nova Scotia Automobile Dealers Association (NSADA). Sutherland says dealers are feeling the combined impact of new technologies in vehicles, changing arrangements between dealers and some OEMs and tough economic challenges. “Normally in the car business there is always a ‘thing.’ Now, we have several ‘things.’ All the more reason to attend.”
The popular event is well-known for bringing world-class speakers to the Atlantic region, and this year’s schedule includes Steve Greenfield, CEO/Founder at Automotive Ventures and author of the new book “The Future of Automotive Retail,” as well as Google Canada Automotive’s Mathew Growden, CADA President and CEO Tim Reuss, Jérémie Bernardin, from ALL EV by Steele, Joe D’Urzo from Rocket EV Charging Solutions and Christina Morris from Subaru Canada. There will also be a lively panel discussion moderated by Universus Media’s Niel Hiscox.
“This CADEX event brings world-class automotive speakers to the Atlantic region,” said Sutherland. “It’s become a valued event, our dealers look forward to each year.” For more information, and to register, please visit the NSADA website.
