HGreg has won the Canadian Business Excellence Award for Private Businesses, now for the second consecutive year. In a news release, they said only a limited number of Canadian companies receive the award.
The ones that do must first meet Excellence Canada’s requirements, while also showcasing a strategic approach to keeping their customers happy. This approach must also see companies engage with employees and foster a culture of innovation in the workplace.
“This recognition is proof positive of the success of our customer-first, innovation-based strategy,” said John Hairabedian, President of HGreg, in a statement. “We’re proud to be one of only a handful of companies across the country selected to receive this award.”
Allan Ebedes, President of Excellence Canada, said 26 Canadian organizations were recognized for their achievements this year.
“It has taken a tremendous amount of hard work and commitment from all members of these organizations to meet the requirements of this award, and we are delighted to celebrate this achievement with them at our Ruby Jubilee held in October to mark our 40th anniversary of celebrating Canadian excellence,” he said in a statement.
The event will be held at Toronto’s Delta Hotel on October 28. It will pay tribute to past and present winners, while also honouring Excellence Canada’s 40th anniversary.
