OPENLANE Canada, an operator of digital marketplaces for used vehicles, will be integrating ADESA Canada and TradeRev into its new consolidated OPENLANE Canada marketplace.
The company made the announcement on June 20, in which they describe the new platform as unifying the best of both offerings to create the largest digital wholesale marketplace for used vehicles in Canada.
“We worked closely with our customers to understand and build what’s most important to them, and are incredibly proud to offer the industry’s only 24/7, multi-channel, full-service marketplace,” said Mark Endras, SVP Product at OPENLANE, in a statement.
He said the OPENLANE Canada offers smart and reliable condition reports, intuitive search options, integrated data insights, and one-click access to add-on services so that customers can quickly and easily list, bid, buy, and sell vehicles.
Part of the unification involves having the company’s network of vehicle logistics centres rebranded to OPENLANE Canada. Current ADESA Canada and TradeRev users will be migrated to the new marketplace in phases, effective starting immediately.
The migration will be complete early in the fourth quarter of the year, at which time the company said its legacy marketplaces will sunset.
